EasyPose is an application of ERC - which isn't a very helpful answer. The bends on the bones are linked back to the bends on the previous bone, link-by-link - as a result if you use the control on a given bone you can adjust all of the child bones below it in one go. Multi-selection in Daz Studio does reduce its usefulness, but ti still has tricks like S-bends that multi-selection can't offer and works with only a single bone selected.
