Lost smart content

Hi all,

Just fired up my Daz and suddenly all the content that should show in my 'smart content' does not appear ! Any idea hwo i get it all back ? Thanks

    Try closing it, and reopening it. D/S needs to load the CMS.

    Is it still in the Content Library pane under Daz Studio Formats (and Poser Formats if appropriate)?

    In answer to:

    restart - cms has been know to not load, but yes, a restart has fixed this. Ive restarted and cms seems to be working but no files showing.

    Is it in content library pane etc - no its not, but the content i buy from daz and download via the downloader never has been, always just turns up in my smart content. I should add i keep all my content on my D drive.

    Funny thing is, the content shows if i select 'products' - i can then enter the relevant folders and there it is. But just total blank when i have 'files' selected :-( 

    Not to mention I cant find my saved scenes etc that used to be in smart content under the 'saved files' tab.

    If the content is not under Daz Studio or Poser Formats it will not load - that is the direct file view, rather than a database driven view

    so may i ask how i get the content under daz studio format ? It was working ok, and then not. Even stuff i reinstall is not showing :-(

    You go to "Content Library" tab, expand "DAZ Studio Formats" and whatever is the name of the Base folder of your content directory [My DAZ 3D Library?]

    Possibly the Content Manager needs to be redone.

    I'm showing the basic start to populate the program. There are a few other options there to - one can have the utility comb the entire computer looking for its stuff BUT esp. if one has their download folder on the same computer, that might not be such a good choice.
