New install Connect vs Central

I finally got a new pc and see many people suggest that DazCentral is still buggy. I used to use DazConnect(I think this is the one with the cloud folder) and it didnt seem to bad. I cannot find DazConnect in my product library and when I click on Download studio it just goes to the DazConnect page.
I 've been using Daz since the beginning off and on, I still know how to add my existing libraries(poser/other stores products), is it still the same in the new version?
Also, what is the latest ver of DazStudio that is signed, I am not sure why they are putting out release build without signing them.

Daz Connect is a feature that allows you to install content from within Daz Studio. Ergo: you first need to have DS installed before you can use it, and to be honest you're much better off using either the Daz Install Manager or Daz Central.
The workflow hasn't really changed. Can't comment on the last question because I only use public builds.
The download link goes to Daz Central, which is a simplified version of Install Manager https://www.daz3d.com/get_install_manager/ . I f you want to instal the Public Build you will have to use Install manager as Daz Central does not handle those - and of course Daz Studio cannot install itself, so Connect is for content only (rather than applications and plug-ins).
Thanks. So to follow up,
1. I need to use DAZ3DIM_1.4.0.80_Win64 from Richard's link to install the latest public Daz Studio.
2. Decide to keep using DIM, download DazCentral, or use DazConnect for content.
Since most of the reviews for central are not good, I guess I'll try sticking with DIM.
Will DIM be able to get the latest signed public build?
Use DIM! It has the latest Daz Studio Public Build (Beta) 4.20.0.11 as of this date. I don't know if it is "signed". There were some issues with that. I don't know if they were resolved. It installed OK on my Windows 10.
OK, thanks. Last time I tried DIM everything got out of wack, but since this a fresh install hopefully all will go well
OK, I am using DIM so far so good. In the Smart content, I can see items I have not downloaded yet, can I still download from there(will this mess something up?) or should I use the DIM to D/L everything?
@Barbult would tell you: yes, it will mess things up, so stick with DIM for everything. Log out of your account from Studio, it is only needed for Connect, which you will never use if you only use DIM. Set your preferences (F2) to never log in from Studio, and remove your login credentials to be sure.
That's what I thought. DIM seems like it has come a long ways since I last tried it many years ago.I have only used DIM but it has been placing everything in the Documents\DAZ 3D\Srutio\ My Daz Connect Library so It all looks the same to me.Confusing.
TheSmart Content tab seems to auto update when I D/L from DIM and change tabs.
The Smart Content tabs "know" about your Products because you have logged in from Studio, even if you log off now. It also knows if they've been installed from DIM. Smart Content won't know about any new products that you purchase unless you log in again (which you shouldn't), until you install them from DIM. The Smart Content itself is compiled from the metadata of installed products, no matter where it comes from.
You can configure DIM (Advanced Settings) where to download and where to install (any folder(s) of your choice, but not the same one). You also need to let Studio know where you have installed it (Content Directory Manager). Disc space limitations might make you consider additional storage if you plan to acquire a large library.
Thanks. I've just left it all at default, as long as it doesn't get confused - so far so good. Why did it opt in to Publishing and Private channels as default?
*shrug* Easily changed...
