Studio install guide for Mac - not in default locations

Is there a guide for installing Studio and the content in places other than the defaults? I've tried several times, but studio can never find content, even when trying to load pre-set scenes.

    You need to tell studio where you have moved things to, using the Content Directory manager from the content library tab dropdown.

    What error messages are you getting when you to to load the content? Can you see the content in the Content Library pane (NOT Smart Content)

    As Razor 42 says, entering the path to the content in the Content Directory Manager will tell DS where the content is installed to, and it can then display it in the Content Library pane.

    Can you please go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager and post a screenshot of your directory paths for BOTH DAZ Studio Formats AND Poser Formats.

    To where do you install the content? To an external drive, network drive or internal drive?

    And I do work - you just need to set everything up right. And, are you installing manual or using DIM?

    I tried installing to an external drive. For content, I use the Install Manager. I'll have to try it again in order to do screenshots.

    I did tell Studio where everything was, didn't work.

    Can you then please provide a screenshot from your DIM Configurations for downloads and istall and then you content library configuration for DAZ Studio we can help you solve it.
