Hi there, I know there are some topics closer to this one but no one answer the question.
I have a NVIDA GeForce MX110 (Windows10 64) and I´ve used to render my scenes pretty well in Daz4.15 with GPU , but since I´ve moved to Daz4.20 although the render pannel recognizes and show my GPU as an option DAZ is just using the CPU even with a very low memory scene lika a gray plane and a grey sphere. If I disable CPU option, and or CPU fall back, I just get a transparent or black render in seconds.
So what I know its NOT the problem:
- scene memory: tested with old scenes rendered with GPU and new ones very simple
- GPU fail: it is regognized by DAZ and other software uses it nicelly
Help is welcome.
Thanks

What nvidia driver are you using?
Hi,
Driver - NVIDIA 451.67 DCH (Windos 10 home 64-bit)
NVIDIA CUDA 11.0.208 driver - 27.21.14.5167
The card apparently has only 2GB of ememory https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-mx110.c3044 If that is correct it may well fail on even very simple scenes.
I think the new verion of Iray that's included in DAZ 4.20 requires NVIDIA driver 465.89 or higher.
Thanks, but with Daz 4.15 I rendered with the same GPU quite busy scenes. Its not that.
Hi Spacius,
Thanks a lot for the tip. Although it seems simple some users (me) are not aware.
Intaled NVIDIA 512.15 DCH, seems to be working now.
Cheers.
Your driver is outdated and not supported by Daz Studio 4.20 Iray.
Minimum driver requirement for GPU rendering is 471.41.
Sorry, I misread the driver version.
Thanks, updated to driver version 512 and it worked.
Cheers.
No problem, thanks for the attention.
its working now with driver version 512
Cheers.
