Yesterday I updated studio, but I thought the update would be to 4.8.0.44. I dont se any options in Istall Manger to get that version . Am I doing something wrong or is this not a public version? Sorry for bringing this up in a separate thread but Im not able to find the information.

4.8.0.44 is a Release Candidate, which means it's still a beta version. Do you have install manager set up to get beta versions?

    A few questions:
    - was 4.8 and 4.7 closed when you installed the new version?
    - are you using the 64 bit or the 32 bit version? Is it possible that you accidently downloaded the wrong bit version, and installed that (that happened to me once... ) ?

If anything fails, de-install the 4.8 version, delete the installation file, and re-download and re-install it again. Make sure you got the right bit version. Make sure that 4.8 and 4.7 programs are closed during installation.

No programs were open. I used the install manager to install the 64 bit version. Now I onlyt have an option to install the 32 bit version in install manager. Im on a Macbook Pro sop tha would be the wronmg version for me.

Ah, I'm sorry, I don't know about MacBook. Maybe one of the Mac-Users here can help you?

    EDIT:
If you installed using DIM, you will (unless you have selected "Delete Package Once Installed"), in the download folder you have specified for DIM-downloads.
