Product installs that cannot be found

Recently I have had an issue with a couple of products. The first was Toon Hero. I installed the product using Connect, but when I go to the product, all I get is the empty box with the exclamation point and an error saying "file does not exist". I submitted a ticket, and was instructed to uninstall and reinstall through DIM, which I did. No change, DAZ still can't find the product. The ticket is still open, as apparently the help team can't figure it out either.
Recenlty I brought another product, "Sci-Fi Rover: Titan" and am getting the same problem. I installed through Connect, DIM, and DAZ Central and nothing works.
Before I request a refund, has anyone else had this problem and solved it?

This happens periodically with all of my DAZ content. You can close out the ticket and do a manual install. It will be there but something else will disappear. It soething that just happens.
I had no problems installing either one, but I use DIM exclusively, so Connect is a grey zone for me. What is your usual install method? I do know that if metadata gets messed up, it stays in the database and further installation attempts do not always clear it up. Check the file system to see if the files are actually where they should be (depending on how you want to install). If you only use Smart Content, and the metadata is bad, chances are you won't see it. It should show up in the Content Library in any case. When they are uninstalled, go to the Products view of Content Library and navigate to the products in question in the alphabetic list. Look for any remnants of metadata in the listings. It could be in proper order, or at the bottom of the list as a greyed-out icon. In either case, right-click on the icon and delete. Confirm and re-install.
I usually use Connet because it's just eaiser for me. I did what Drogo Nazhur said and manually installed both products and now they both work.
How did you uninstall - right-click on the product container in Daz Studio?
I generally install with Install Manager. Nothing fancy but it seems to work. If there is ever a problem finding where a product was placed, I download the zip file manually and extract it on the desktop and have a look at the folder structure in the zip. And then check if the original is installed in the Daz content folder. I rarely use smart content, and use the content library directly. That can be organized to exactly the workflow necessary.
You can also try to install it eith Content Wizard. Sometimes it works with problematic DAZ content.
Yes, but I also uninstalled through DIM and deleted the downloader, then re-downloaded and installed through DIM - same problem. Manually downloading and installing from the zip fixed the problem.
