Haruchai wrote a good walkthrough of how to fix clashing morphs in this thread:

Have you submitted a report so that DAZ can contact the vendor to fix it? That's the only way to get it solved properly, for everyone.

This is a file a ticket so Daz can fix it problem.  Oversights happen,  but the newer product should have a different file structure from the already existing product. It needs to be part of QA to make sure products don't have the exact same name.

https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/7398991/#Comment_7398991 DOES show how to fix the .duf problem, if you really want.

If you'd rather just choose, as your headline suggested, then I opted to keep Maelwenn's Joanna. I also own Mousso's Sharon, which is a closer Jolie than her Joanna---dial in just 15% of Sharon to make any character Joliesque---so, I still have what Mousso's Joanna offered sans the cock-up.

I use the same/similar method to fix all the files, not just the morphs. I own both Joanna's too; so, I know what you mean. I later manually uninstalled Mousso's Joanna since I also had Sharon.

If it is just the character file (not the whole folder, that's another kettle of fish) what I have done is to install one, copy and rename the main character .duf file with an artist identifier or something distinct. It will be orphaned from the product, so you can go throught he motions of adding it to the Product and copying the metadata from the original to retain Smart Content, if you want.

Then, install the second product (overwriting the first character) and copy the main character .duf and rename it if you want to know which is which, and process it like the first, if you want. Then delete the original (second) character .duf to avoid any further confusion.

You can also edit the archive to rename the files before installing, taking care to change the manifest and metadata files. If you need to re-install at some point, you won't have to wory about it again.

Or, wait until the Product is updated.
