I thought I saw a product here that can squish objects, such as a butt on a pillow, head, or even objects like a ball. Like if someone pushed on it.
Did searches but cannot find.

An alternative way to mimic soft body effects is:

That one alllows to "edit" the geometry itself. But, it has a learning curve and is expensive - even more so with its various add ons.

Probably too late, but look at aemi1970's 'X-Leg & forearm for G8F' over on Renderosity. This enables self collision of the figure, so a finger can squish the figure's cheek etc. simulating soft & harder body interaction. Knew I'd seen it somewhere.
