Where to get modern cars, trucks

I have been looking for probably 2005 and newer autos and trucks, including buses, city vehicles, semi trailers, and new model cars..not just fancy luxury and sports cars but common everyday cars for regular folks.
Also dont want to pay big bucks for the stuff. DAZ style pricing would be fine. FREE the best.

...there are a few freebie sites that have vehicles. including trucks, buses trams and construction. Be sure to only select the .obj files as 3ds and .lwo cannot be imported without first converting the model in a modelling programme and .Max format is proprietary to 3DS Max

Also, if you search on renderosity they have some everyday cars mixed in with all the fancy stuff. I saw a Toyota yaris and Mini Cooper in my brief look.
thanks..don't have those..and I did search at Rendo and nothing came up for me. Also Share CG, and a general google search, but nothing what I was really looking for.
Is it possible to convert 3ds or lwo files into obj in Blender?
Look at VanishingPoint at rendo. Turns out they did the cars I was seeing.
TruForm at Renderosity has lots of low price ($12 reguar) vehicles. The quality is excellent.

I'm mainly want to do street parking and some traffic in scenes. The fancy luxury sedans and sports cars really don;t interest me, nor too many old cars... hard to find jus tplain good cars that are affordable. I was at turbosquid, about choked.

There are a lot of free modern vehicles on this site: http://www.dmi-3d.net/ Mostly they are in lightwave (lwo) format; so, you will have to convert them to obj to import into DAZ.

They are a bit pricey, but if you can pick them up on sale Urban Sprawl 2 and Urban Sprawl 3. Have all sorts of vehicles. I don't think they are listed as indiviudal props, so you'd have to load the scene and find them.

Nothing wrong with Low Poly vehicles as long as you know you are gonna be placing them way over there in the background to help populate the scene. The advantage of low poly vehicles is you can place 40-60 of them into a scene and it would be comparable to one fully clothed Genesis character.

True, just pointing it out in case they wanted the character in the vehicle or needing it for closeups
This has 4 regular low poly cars, and it's the nicest modern Daztopian station I've seen, other than the vendor's name plastered everywhere. BTW, the TruForm cars don't use a lot of memory.

Just missed that one at $3.49. I looked at it a lot, but the advertising turned me off.
I've looked at that set since you put it out. I haven't purchased it, sorry, only that it is just SUV. If it had a bunch of different types of car I would snap it up.
If low poly vehicles are suitable there is 20 Low Rez Vehicles by Christophe3D available at Renderosity. It has a wide variety of modern vehicles.

I love using Trueform's vehicles they are very functional especially for animations.

I don't think anyone answered this... you can. You'll need to download a plugin for 3ds and another for lwo (they're free). Once you have those, you can import those kinds of files into Blender. You can then export as an OBJ so that it can go into DAZ.
CGTrader and Turbosquid both have lots of modern cars. Quality and pricing will very. You will also need to have the know how and tools to bring them into Daz properly.
