Hey there guys. First of all, I apolagize for my bad typing - I'm on a new PC and am just getting used to this keyboard, I'll try to proof as best as I can.

Anyway. I 've just gotten a new computer, moving on up from XP to Win7 (woo?) and I'm done the perfecly numbnutted thing and copied all my frankenstein Daz Studio folder across, the stuff in the documents and the stuff in my programs.

My main problem is that Daz is aking for a serial number. - BLUHH?! I've never had that before.

This is an OLD OLD copy of Daz, it's 3.1 - and you can pry it from my cold dead hands! So I'm not giving up, I've used it for years now, but I don't know how to get it going.

If I click "register" it takes me to this site and offers me Daz Studio 4 which I don't want. I would take a ticket, but they always tell me to come this this forum, so I figured I'd be one step ahead of them this time and come here immediately ;)

It sure would help if Daz didn't try to lock up older programs of theirs like a fidgeting grandma they don't want to be seen in public with, but what happens if grandma's son is a brat who doesn't give hugs and make sweet cookies? Dammit, I miss grandma!

Wow. Super creepy metaphor warning.

Anyway, if anyone can help out I'll throw them a tissue tape parade in their honour in the nude. If that's SO not what you want, then help me out and I WON'T do that ;)

Thanks so much in advance, this is my livlihood and rigt now I'm ripping my goldylocks out!

Log in to your account and in your details you'll have a list of all the serial numbers for products you've purchased in the past. It should include Daz Studio 3.

If you got your copy of DS3.1 from the Store here, then it should appear in your Product Library, and you will find the serial number for it in My Account > Serial Numbers.

If you don't have a serial for DS3.1 in there, then you will need to use the Help > Contact Us button, and ask Support to help you. Nobody on the forums can do anything for you as regards a product serial number.

Now you have a nice new computer you could grab DS4 & all the content that comes with it too, it won't work in 3 but does the other way round and you can have both installed, its free so why not?
