Dress corruption with shaping

I have been using DAZ 4.7 for some months, but I recently noticed a problem with cloth getting corrupted depending on body shape.

I have illustrated my problem in the attached pictures.
First picture is showing the XDress loaded onto the base G2F, and it looks fine.
Second picture I have dialled Victoria6 body up - looks OK.
Third picture I have instead dialled Stephanie6, and the dress get jagged, as if the body morphs from the body gets wrongly transferred to the dress. especially obvious in the groin area.
The problem occurs with many body shapes, some are just more pronounced than others.

I haven't noticed it until recently, but it might actually have been there for a longer period, because it both depends on which cloth item and body shape, for how obvious it is.

Any help in solving this would be appreciated.

The dress may not have Full Body Morphs or Fit morphs for all of the G2F shapes so it has to rely on auto-follow. Skirts, unfortunately are notoriously bad for getting that V-shape crunching. You could try increasing the smoothing to see if that helps.

    Thanks for the reply.

I have tried applying smoothing. For some body types it can work, but for others it smooths it some but it still looks bad.

And you are right. It is primarily with skirts I have seen this problem.
I wasn't aware that a dress had to list the specific body types to support them. I kind of thought that the auto-follow would do the job good enough.
The XDress from my example actually only lists V6 and as it is part of the Gia bundle I suppose that must be supported too.

I suspect the difference is that S6 is applying some scaling as well as plain morphs. SickleYield's clothing smoothers may help with this https://www.daz3d.com/clothing-smoothers-for-daz-genesis-2-female-s

If you are getting a warning that a .dsf file cannot be found you have not installed the core files, or you have not installed them correctly. DAZ Studio does not sue the PoserCF files - it needs only the DSON core files. The DSON Import is a plug-in for Poser that allows it to read DAZ Studio's DSON files.

The dress is not by Reallusion - I am not sure what that has to do with your question.

    Google Translate
