Install everything on a different drive other than the C drive

Is there a way Install everything on a different drive other than the C drive? Like EVERYTHING? DIM folders (the ones in public user folder) the software itself and the libraries for My Content and My Daz Studio Content? My hard drive is a 2tb and between the software (Daz and Unreal Engine) the dependencies and all the DLCs I chewed up all of over 1.5 terrabytes of my c drive. Just with Daz studio stuff alone (I've been using Daz for quite a while) and because my computer is old and has proprietary hardware (it's a rackmount supermicro gpu server? It doesn't support over 2tb boot drive. Before you suggest, I'm not buying a new computer or hardware or anything. I'm not loaded. Quite the opposite.

Yes, it's possible to install on a different drive.

Which method do you use to install?

I wrote this procedure five years ago (!) and it's still mostly accurate. Some things have changed since then.

First, you will need to click on "Advanced Settings" in DIM.

Second, you now get the option to change the location of the Manifest Archive (Installation tab) and the Thumbnail Archive (Downloads tab).

DIM creates the Manifest Archive by combining the contents of the .dsx file in the downnload diectory with the .dsx fiile embedded in the zip file and the userid of the installer, the install date, siize, and directory. This is the file used by DIM to determine if there's an update to your installed products.

My rules, since I got my first PC in 1999:
    C-drive is for windows only.
Everything else is installed on a different drive.
Never had a problem with that.
Any software that is not obeying my standards will be returned for a refund.

And if you have dropbox consider installing your data or at least content folder to that. Then you have a roll back backup.
