Hello,
I know that there are other related topics that talks about this content library not working right. And I tried all different kinds of method to make it work including installing PostgreSQL CMS but on the Poser Format > Daz3d; it will not highlight that spot as usual which is where I installed all my files in there. And when I tried to search through for example I typed in Frovida Hair it usually show in the search area but now it doesn't work anymore. Could someone please help me is to how to fix the Poser format? Thank you.

The Content Library pane does not use PostgreSQL or Valentina to display your content.
If you go to the Content Library Pane, then select Poser Formats, then the library that you installed the content to, you should find it there.
Are you looking in Smart Content for this item?
The search function in DAZ Studio, relies on CMS/Valentina or PosetgreSQL to be running. After you have started DAZ Studio, have you checked Task Manager to see if 'postgres.exe' is running in Processes (there should be several of them)
Did you also run the conversion program to convert Valentina to PostgreSQL? That transfers over all of the data to the new DB system.
Yes I'm looking for some content for this item and I did checked the Task Manager to see if 'postgres.exe' is running and it was. As for the conversion how do you do that exactly?
First of all, there are two panes where you can see your installed content, the Content Library pane and the Smart Content pane. They are two completely different ways of looking at your data.
Smart Content is controlled by a database, either Valentina/CMS or PostgreSQL.
The Content Library pane is controlled by the Content Directory Manager, and it doesn't need the database at all to display it's content. If you go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, you will find a place to enter the paths to your content, both for DAZ Studio AND Poser Formats. Can you please look at them, and make sure that they are correct?
Inside DIM (DAZ Install Manager) you should find a download called 'PostgreSQL CMS from Valentina CMS Conversion' you need to download and install that as well if you have already installed 'PosetgreSQL CMS (Win 64 bit)'. That should transfer over the database data to the new files.
Alright thanks for your help! I finally work. I also did "Migrate Old Content Database" as well to make the poser format work as well. So everything is good and running. Thanks again
