Templates: Do I need them?

I was cleaning out my computer for storage and I realized the folder of templates in my Daz files. Do I really need them on here? Are they that important? Or can I delete them and go about my day?

     Yes you can delete them and go about your day.

    They come in handy when you want to make some new textures for the outfits, etc. However they are easy enough to either redownload when you need them, or make them using any one of a number of uv utilities, any modeler such as Hexagon, even with D/S - you can switch the view to UV maps - to get an idea on where in the square image the pattern has to be to show up on the clothing or whatever.

    Delete the templates unlessyou are planning on making your own textures.
