V4 armor to G2f - Autofit or not?

I'm trying to use some armor from share cg (http://www.sharecg.com/v/60337/)
It's designed for v4.
I loaded it onto a g2f, and let it autofit. That worked fine in the base pose.
When I pose it, however, it acts too flexible, like cloth..not like armor.
IF I load the armor, then just parent it, it stays firm like armor...BUT the armor doesn't have the morphs to fit it to the body nicely, so I'd be forced to use just a basic body shape, rather than different ones.
Is there a way to keep the rigidity of the armor, while it still being able to change to fit the body shape?

You will need to use the Geometry Editor and Node Weight Map brush tools to edit the weight maps. You might also use the Geometry Editor tool to split the model down into parts and then parent them to the figure, at least for the rigid parts.
