Got a texture pack that I sat on for five weeks before I finally tried it, and all five variations on all of the outfit items come out magenta. (dForce Wander Outfit : Phantasm)
Where in the files should I look to find the correct texture files?

Do you get any error messages? How ddi you install? Which version of Daz Studio (Help>About Daz Studio)?
No error messages, both DIM and connect, 4.20.0.2
Found the culprit. All of the texture files are corrupted. I suppose I'll try uninstalling then reinstalling and see if that works. If not, how do I get ahold of the artist directly to bring it to their attention?
Reinstalling through connect solved it. Still don't have thumbnails, but the textures work. Case closed. :)
Don't use both, that may cause problems.
It shouldn't cause problems, but it certainly wastes space as the Connect files will be used and the DIM dffiles completely ignored.
Sound advice. I just cleared out all the connect stuff and am re-installing now. Just rescued almost 100GB of space using only DIM. Thank you.
The conflict between the two is probably what the problem was to begin with.
