Fatal Whisper for Genesis 2 Female Stockings Not Working

I picked up Fatal Whisper and the stockings don't work. The toes and the thigh bands show up but the actual fabric between does not apply. Doesn't matter what material I pick or how I apply it, nothing shows up.

I've messed with surfaces a little but that didn't seem to do the trick.

Anyone have a tip or an idea of why I can't get the textures to work?

    I don't have the product but the description lists "4 Second Skin Stocking options for Genesis 2 Female". So my guess is that there's no stocking "fabric" per se, you just apply "stocking" materials to G2F's legs.

    Does it not show up in the render as well, or just in the preview?

    The images I attached are renders. They don't show up at all.

    If you were to apply it to the skin, wouldn't it do the whole leg and not just the point between toe and thigh?

    Not necessarily, it depends on how the material zones are defined.
    From memory there's one "legs" zone on the "limbs" map which stops roughly at the top of those stockings, and the top of the legs is the "hips" zone on the "torso" map.

    Just had a look at the product ... what Leana says is correct. When you add the Wardrobe> Socks item you get the thigh-tops and toes pieces of the stockings added. To get the actual stocking part you need to also add the Materials> Feminine> Fatal Whisper> Skin item of your choice, which adds a LIE overlay.

    Hey everyone, thank you very very much for the help!

    I don't know why I had such a block with this but you're absolutely correct. You select the model and apply the stocking material--not the stocking.

    Seemed a little counter-intuitive but hey, I know it now so I'm good.
