Use a LAN drive to store the model

I bought a new laptop with very little hard disk space. So I want to solve my hard disk capacity problem through LAN mapping. My router is wired to two devices and I can choose one of them to be my network drive. One is a Desktop running Windows with a lot of hard drives One is qunhui brand NAS I want to know the running logic of the DAZ loading model. As soon as I load the model, I have already loaded the model into my computer's hard drive or memory. It has nothing to do with the original position. Because I was worried that the model in the network drive would affect my rendering efficiency and the smoothness of manipulating the model. If my concern is unnecessary, then I would like to ask again, which of the two schemes above is faster?

There may be an impact on load times or on setting morphs to non-zero values, at which point the detauils of the shape change are read from disc, and on preparing the scene to render, when the full texture data has to be read in, but it shouldn't impact the actual rendering process or most operations inside DS. Do be aware that UNC paths are not supported so you would need to assign it a standard drive identifier to use it as a content library.

Thank you ~I decide to buy a SSD about 1T...

I keep all my content on a NAS, and it works just fine. Even now that I'm not hardwired to the NAS (due to a router failure), it's still quite usable, although obviously it was better before.
