Hi,
I need to match the telephoto lens on the iPhone 13 Pro with Daz Studio's camera - for video purposes. iPhone 13 has three lenses, the one I am talking about is the biggest zoom lens. (earlier I wrote wide angle lens, but that was a mistake)
But I am kind of lost, I really don't understand this whole matching business between Daz Studio's virtual camera & render size VS. iPhone camera angle & video frame size.
I know it's a bit of a strecth to ask, but can an ambitious expert help me with actual settings (camera and render frame size settings).
Thanks in advance!

According to this site here - https://www.phonearena.com/news/iPhone-13-camera_id133336 - the telephoto lens is 77mm/f2.8.
The first number, 77mm, is the focal length of the lens. The second number, f2.8, is the aperture size. Oddly, Daz has two independent settings for the f-stop on its virtual cameras, one of which controls the amount of light that enters the lens, the second controlling the depth of field. It's the former that the number applies to but because there are so many ways to lighten or darken your renders, it can be ignored.
All you need to do then is place a camera in your scene and tell Daz that it has a 77mm lens. If you want to mimic the other lenses, they are 13mm (ultra wide - will look odd mostly) and 26mm.
If you want to match the resolution of your renders to the iPhone's output, you'll need to use one of these sizes:
3840x2160 (4K UHD), 1920x1080 (Full HD), 1280x720 (HD)
This seems too straightforward so I suspect I've missed something in what you're asking...! (I am neither ambitious nor an expert!)
You're going to want to get this product:
IG Photographer's Toolbox: Cinematic Cameras | Daz 3D
The lenses match what they should be in the real world along with the depth of field. I just got these during march madness and I feel like I'm back on set. I know if I put this camera with this lens here at a certain F-Stop, it'll look like X.
Thank you!
I think my issue comes from the fact that I did try to match a wide angle lens in the past, and it didn't seem to be correct in Daz Studio. It looked way more wide angle than the real world alternative. That's why I felt confused..
But I will try the 77mm setting. Probably I will draw a 1 meter rectangle in the real world and see if it matches a 1 meter plane in Daz Studio from the same distance.
Thanks! I didn't know about this product, I will look into it.
It should be close Steve, as long as you don't apply any digital zoom on the phone's end. Quite how you'd replicate that is anyone's guess - trial and error I suspect.
I know nothing about iPhones per se, but the various photography sites that reviewed the 13 all state that the camera is full frame, so essentially the same as any standard DSLR - the focal length is all that should need adjusting without having to dive into the more esoteric camera settings which you'd need to do for something like vintage or large format cameras.
