I've had [Content Wizard] this program for a while and never have been able to get it to work. My Db is now immense a d I'm in need of finding a way to manage everything, but after downloading, reinstalling and downloading it again it still refuses to run.

Can anyone tell me if they have had this issue and figured out to get it to work?

  • There's a thread for discussion of Content Wizard at https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/387911/released-content-wizard-commercial/

Someone should be able to help you there.

its a lot more complicated than what I know about the file structure in DS, that's for sure. I found it pretty much useless to me. I did use that linked forum discussion.
I find that 3/4 of the stuff I buy, tools to make things easier, actually don't.

I use it all the time with no issue.  I agree with Binaries Torturer post in the commerical thread (or move this one there) RiversoftArt is always helpful!

Same here...I use it to batch install Rendo content since it comes in zips. If you tap RS you'll get some help...he's quite good about it. I had an issue with something and sent in several logs and he kept at it until I got it to work. Great customer service :)

@bnstone_stone: RiversoftArt  has created a new plugin called "Smart Collections": https://www.daz3d.com/smart-collections, which is fantastic for quick access and overview of products owned. In order to use it with non smart products, you need the content wizard you already own. So, if it works out for you, that product could be very intersting for you.

Btw.: Never had problems starting content wizard, but although it can do a lot, you will have to spend some time to learn it, but it is definitely worth it!

I use Content Wizard all the time for products I buy at other stores.  It's always worked perfectly for me, even if there are 14 zips for a product.  Maybe it's just not working with the (new) version of DAZ Studio you are using.

  • I used it with no problems early today and i'm on Daz 4.20
