Following up one sale with an even better sale right away... making everybody who bought early feel like a fool.

First during March Madness, then with the Easter promotion yesterday, now this... Is this a thing now with DAZ? Come on, get your BLEEP together!

Obviously directed at DAZ marketing, not Five13. Yes, I know they likely won't read this. Just venting. *grumbel*

  • Well actually I have three Five13 products recently wishlisted: Cloud Portals, Cloud Alphabet and the Ghost Hands. Unfortunately the Cloud Alphabet is not included with the promotion. But I cannot make use of it anyway it seems as the Mesh-to-Cloud-product is windows only. Seems to be another day without spending.

The Easter promotion is not comparable in any way. That was a limited offer. You had the opportunity to buy 3 items on day one, then another 8 on day two, even cheaper this time. If they had another 3 for 9 today, I'd probably get a few more since there are still some things in that list I'd get for these prices. Sure, it sucks if you only wanted a maximum of 3 items and you got them on day 1, but for anyone who wanted more than 3 it was a good deal.

If the storewide sale was 60% on day one and 65% on day 2 that would have been a similar situation.

I honestly don't see why the OP is even apologizing, these things happen, both online and in brick and mortar stores. I have had it happen to me many times and probably still will in the future. Unless it's for a sizable amount of money, I don't worry about it.

I can honestly say that I have never returned a product because it went on sale or on a better sale after I bought it. Happens to me in brick and mortar stores all the time ;). I was the one that decided to buy it on the day that I bought it and, like Five had just illustrated, there's no way of knowing when it will go on sale again at a better price. It's part of the vagaries of the universe as far as I'm concerned. LOL.
