Dark Apocalypse fans have waited a long time for this day.... the Rise of the Sarotu

http://www.daz3d.com/dark-apocalypse-viridian-skye-bundle

The first Sarotu is out now and introduces Sky'ara (Skye for short) And no, she isn't actually totally evil... she marks a descent into darkness (she had to come first coz the script said so lol) But far darker Sarotu lie on the horizon.

So, this is the party thread.... post renders, ask questions, throw glitter

Some quickie things to note:

Poses require limits to be turned off, and require the correct spear to be loaded, as they are hierarchical. Pose 0 has no spear, pose 01-10 require the right spear, pose 11-20 require the left spear.

Yes, the claws on the gauntlets are posable - for bending the fingers back, or just coz.

You will need V4's UV's to use the character textures

There is a humanized version... but no, the scar does not come off

Yeah, its been far too long since my last. They just take so much work to develop, I kept putting it off for other stuff lol But hopefully this will get the ball rolling with some others. There's a lot of really cool additions that will come in the future

Speaking of what goes into them, figure Id post this too. I made it for the DA website -- http://darkapocalypse.damageinc3d.net/

wow she looks pretty nice in iray

Yeah, shes pretty solid right out of the box. I did have to turn on specular thru opacity on the eye stuff, coz it was causing a lot of noise (but in the future, I'll see if I can account for that from the get go) I guess iray renders that sort of stuff a bit differently. There are also some displacement differences between it and 3delight.
