Saving as Moprh Asset

I'm confused. If I save a morph under File/Save As/Support Asset/Morph Asset, why is that morph unavailable for the base Gen 8 figure? Isn't that the point of saving a morph asset? I feel like I'm missing a step or eight here.

(Edit to add: I could have sworn there was a guide here on the Forums, but I can't find it. :-( )

Save As -> Morph Asset is for morphs you have created yourself, not for saving changes made with using the dials (=morphs made by others).

If the morph you wanted to save was made by yourself, have you restarted DS?

This is my own morph/figure shape, imported using Morph Loader Pro. Everything seems normal (little slider bar created, etc.) but when I load up a stock Gen 8 character, that morph slider suddenly doesn't seem to exist anywhere. I'll have to try a complete shutdown and restart (refreshing did not work).

What is the path to your morph files?

The content directory to be used is set at the top of the options dialogue.

  • Weird. Not sure what I did to get it to work, but it works. Thanks, everyone.
