Ultimo Paradiso - Invisible in Iray mode

I installed Ultimo Paradiso https://www.daz3d.com/ultimo-paradiso and run the script "create Ultimo Paradiso".

It worked and the objects are all located in the scene and I can see them in the viewport when the mode is not Iray.

But once I switched the viewport to Iray mode, the viewport turns into a solid black square.

I tried to find similar cases, but I couldn't and all I get is the imformation that other people using this product correctly.

I don't see what causes this.  Would anyone help me on this issue?

You don't see anything because light isn't entering.. try hiding/deleting the sky object and apply a new HDR in the Environment Settings.

Ultimo Paradiso is made for 3DeLight... so if you use Iray you have to manually adjust materials and lights.

  • Kainjy, thank you for your comment.

I didn't know it was for 3DeLight, for there is no information about that on the store page.

Anyway, now I see the point and I'll try the way you told me.

    Thank you again!!

if you look at the sku number, Iray began around 21000 or so. This is 12000. A good way in general to know if 3Delight or Iray ... but there were lots of products that were not iray after that. The iray products usually have iray somehwere in the description or in the readme.

Thank you for your great tips.  I'll be more careful and will check if the product supports Iray or not.

I use this quite a bit. It doesn;t work on everything but most that I've tried so far. It nice becasue you can buy older stuff pretty cheap that isn;t iray and convert it .
