Using older content on newer figures

Not wanting to waste old content I'd like to know, does Genesis Generation X2 work for transferring morphs to Genesis 8.1? And can V4 textures be applied to Genesis 8.1 figures?

Unfortunately, the author of the code passed away, and it's only possible to get to Genesis 3 using GenX2. Further scripts are needed to go from Genesis 3 to 8/8.1 . Apart from the XTransfer available here to get Genesis 3 characters to Genesis 8.. There is a manual way of getting Genesis 3 characters to Genesis 8, and there in it is very possible to get Victoria 4/MIchael 4, Genesis and Genesis 2 characters to Genesis 8.. It just involves the step of porting to Genesis 3 first and then porting to Genesis 8..

The one issue I did find was that in doing so, the ported characters would lose some of the facial definitions of the original character..
