Free content as long as you are in the US

I moaned about flash sales a fair bit (!) and I think, to be fair to Daz, things are a lot better now. Yesterday I think they repeated the same sale at 12 hour interval, for example (I missed them, but that's my fault).

Then they did this.

I don''t especially need SMS alerts, but I do want Kanade 8 free of charge, and I could easily opt in and opt out. Daz has a good privacy policy, so there is nothing to lose. It seems only the US gets that offer though, so I can't do that..

Now it may be I am the only person that cares about this, but the thing is, she's on my wishlist, and I don't think I'll ever be able to bring myself to pay for her now, because I will always remember that others were (theoretically) given her free of charge. I think at that must be understandable?

Support previously told me that if I found an example of a discount that was only offered in certain regions they would look into it and find a resolution. I've asked for Kanade 8 to be given to me free of charge, because I don't think anyone could claim this is anything other than free content, but only in the US. Let's see what happens!

(And yes, i know the coupon wasn't working, but they will fix it. It's valid until the 29th.)

Closing this as it is already discussed in the thread on the SMS alerts.

Do bear in mind that there may be issues beyond Daz' control here, either regulatory or with the service they are using to deliver the texts.
