"Suture" where IRay surfaces meet?

In some IRay character material sets, I see "sutures" where surfaces meet, such as the greenish seam between the Torso and Arms surfaces on G8F. In the attached image, the character set is Bluejaunte's "Miriam," which is a very realistic skin otherwise. By comparison, the Growing Up materials don't show this effect. Any suggestions on what is causing it? Which node(s) might I need to look at? The JPG textures for Miriam don't end at the edge of the UV, so it's not like I can just extend the edges using Photoshop.

Typically those blue lines are a symptom of sss settings and spectral rendering, particularly in versions prior to 4.20 (because the spectral rendering settings changed with 4.20).
Thanks; I'll check those. This is v. 4.20.0.2. I did just discover that changing the SSS direction to either -1 or +1 eliminated the 'sutures,' but that was just on a test, not in the scene I was using. It's a start, at least.
