Any way to smarten up the Smart Content search?

Years ago, the Smart Content use to show me a ton of content after any search.

Now, not so much. If I search "Figures" I only get...maybe 30 characters.

The People/Male/Female filters seem to not work well.

There's also a choice in that list that returns nothing - as if no vendor ever tagged their item with that key word.

Even if I use the Install Tab, I only see a partial list of my (recent) purchases.

Is there any way to get the search function to return MORE results?

And the STORE search seems knackered too.

A search for any Generation of Characters (like Genesis 6 or V4 etc...) still shows only G8 results.

Is there some kind of Meta-data refresh or some such that can improve the overall functionality?

Smart Content works only with files that are products part and have been Categorized (if not categorized you'll find them inside Unassigned or Lost and Found... many old products are inside Lost and Found).
So if you download a file from sharecg or Renderosity, they won't be showed because Product info is usually (not always) missing.
You can create a new product on your PC and add assets (figures, clothing, hair, material presets, etc..). You can also categorize them, so you'll be able to find these files.

You can categorize all the products you own, just hightlight the assets, poses, props in the Smart Content product, and right-click for the menu. 

I have everything categorized under "Favorites" so that I can find stuff they way that my brain thinks, otherwise, lots of stuff you will never find with search.

Just to be clear, you're entering "figures" into the search bar in Smart Content? If so, it's no wonder you're not getting many results, because it's only returning products that have "figures" in the name.

The Install tab is for Daz Connect, i.e. installing products within DS. If you install manually or through DIM/Central, then the Install tab is meaningless.

If you have content wizard, as @watchdog79 suggested, i strongly recommend smart collections from the same vendor - fast access and great overview and non smart products included (here my "Trees" collection opened: who knows what he/she has, does also know if he/she really needs to buy anymore...)

BTW great job with your tutorials and comics. You are very inspiring and motivating!
