Hey guys, I'm in need of your collected knowlege again. I'm looking for a necklace - collar type of thing, I'm pretty sure I've seen something like that in the shop, even half way sure I own it, but currently it evades me successfully

here is a sketch the way it should look like, it's rather high on the neck and stiff

thanks again for your help

Similar but with about 5 to 6 tightly connected segments around the neck, instead of one piece of metal

How about parenting a torus to the neck then scaling it?

Apply a shader to get the desired look?

An interesting way to teach / learn some basic skills!

that could be an option esp when altering the surface with the  geometry editor so that only the inner half of the circle is visible.

I did find a collar which I might get halfway into shape as well, the thing is just that I'm really convinced I saw that sort of necklace here, so I wanted to cross check before I spend a lot of time on that (already made a fur lining to a dress with strand based hair and some other gimmics wink)

Of the ones in my library that I've managed to find so far, this is what I have.

Hekau Collar, looks more like a metal dickey collar though than a neck ornament but the closest match I have.

Striga collar(softie plush type so would need work)

    https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-the-striga-ensemble-for-genesis-3-and-8-females

RNDNA Kali Collar (V4) but autofits/parents well for G3/G8 characters I've tried it on.

Would need to have purchased this one from RNDNA as it not available anymore

I've also got several neck ring ornaments. Not really the vertical plate style you are looking for though.

    ---

I use torus primitives for necklaces sometimes.

Primitives can dforce pretty well also.

Adjust the dforce settings and you can make summer tube tops for your girls with them.

It won't have fancy textures with borders or anything, but a simple ribbed cotton shader and you got a good enough summer top.

Armor bracers/bracelets/anklets for your warriors, etc, etc.

    ---

Can make leggings with geoshells also. Just hide all the parts that you don't need for pants and apply a shinny silk/nylon shader.

A long t-shirt hides the crappy waist line.

    Thanks for looking those up

that hekau colloar looks quite close actually, I will take a closer look at that one but might go and buy it. The striga collar I looked at as well but would be a lot of work

at the moment I'm getting closes with this one https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-bone-conjurer-outfit-for-genesis-8-females

but actually I'll go have a stroll through Arkis page, they have a lot of collar things with their clothes.

actually yes that solved the riddle it's the collar from the Aquila ensemble top and that's why I didn't find it, it's not a separate collar but part of a top, and I even have that already, so problem solved

this one for the people interested: https://www.daz3d.com/the-aquila-ensemble-for-genesis-3-female-s

LOL, I actually have that one also.

I didn't spot the collar attached to the top as I was scrolling though.

    Good eye.

I even have the extra materials/texture sets for it.

I really need to play with that one a bit when I get more time.
