Daz 4.20

Hi all. Question is why is my new daz 4.20 opening with all the default settings. I have to reset everything to the way I use it before I can start. This has never happened before. It should open with all the settings where I have set them. I have even tried the "save style" and though it did save it, when I click on it, it ignors it and stays at the default setting. HELP! Please help. Thanks. (windows 10 64 bit)

    Layout and STYLE. The viewport goes back to gray color. I use white. It wont save any settings I have made. I collapse some of the panes I don't use and they are all back when I reopen Daz. The Draw style even goes back to that PBR filament, so I have to change that too. Even the cursor changes back to some weird thing and I have to select the arrow. It all goes back to the default settings it comes in.

    I have read some of the problems with 4.20 and it is mind boggling! I am not a computer tech so I do not understand why all this is happening. I just want it to work like it is suppose to without having to reset everything every time I open Daz. I am affraid to make some of these listed changes out of fear of destroying something. My 4.15 worked just fine. I would like to go back to it. I have saved the file for it, but with my internet so slow here, it takes about 16 hours for the Daz central to load, so I can get the studio. I have the 4.20 central loaded now. Can I go back to 4.15? I hate this 4.20 version. Way too much troubles. Can you help me Richard? (I will not make any changes on my pooter. You guys need to fix this!)

    Unless soemthing is deleting the UI files you should be able to ruin the script linked from my post and have the layout stick thereafter. You could also try using the public Build, which has the fix for this issue.

    Richard means "run" the script, not "ruin" the script, of course.

    I looked for the link to the script but could not find it. If I had it, I would run it. Also, what is the "public build"? How do I get it? I am just lost over this.

    Public build is the beta release. You have to "buy" it first https://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-beta

    If you are using DIM you have to enable it in DIM settings to include public builds
