Can't Seem to Apply Gens to NIX 8

I got Nix 8 as a freebie for signing up for SMS notifications. Awesone! I needed a male character for my project, so that's perfect! The problem I'm having is that I can't seem to figure out how to apply the gens that came with Nix 8. I've clicked on just about everything I could think of, but nothing seems to work. I'm pretty new to Daz Studio, and this is the first figure I've received through the Daz shop that includes gens, so I'm hoping there is a learning curve when compared to applying gens from other stores. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

    It is unlikely that a gens came with NIx; morely likely the texture for the standard gens that matches Nix's skin tones.  There is a bit bit of anatomy that does come with Nix though.  It is an alien spine.  The standard gens is its own product which normally is in a pro bundle.

    for an adult character, or for Genesis 8.1 one of the themed bundles for the named characters.

    Oooh! Ok! So they come with skin-matched gen mats, but not the UVs for the gens themselves? So, in theory, I should be able to apply gens from an outside source, then use the gen mats that came with Nix 8 to match the skin tone, right? I guess that would explain why I was unable to find any gens UVs in the files that came with him. Duhh!

    No, the UVs are part of the model - the preset just assigns the textures, laid out to match the default UVs.

    Gens (UV and geometry) are contained in Pro-Bundle (Look for "Genesis 8 Male Anatomical Elements"  in the "What's Included and Features" at https://www.daz3d.com/nix-8-pro-bundle).
    Every G8 has the self Gen, so if you buy a single G8 pro bundle you can have an anatomical element that you can attach to Nix, Underbelly or every other G8 character.
    Anatomical Elements for G8 is a DAZ product not separatly sold.
    Inside Nix (that one you obtained) there are only textures and materials presets for the gens because every character has a different skin (color, sss effects, etc..) so if you need to make a render, you have an unique skin color. Not all characters have anatomical materials, so check it early to buy.

    Also G8 gens are not compatible with G1/G2/G3 figures, every figure generation has different gens (included in Pro Bundle).
