Blender FBX to DAZ

I have a model in Blender I want to move into DAZ, It is a Building model with an interior.  It has textures and when I import it I get everything but not in the right places. (See Image 1).

I also get this message before I Accept the import. (See Image 2).

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or what I should be doing to make it right?

Thanks

From the second image look like there is an animation in the file.. so check if in Blender something is animated.

Also what file format (there are different FBX versions) are you using ?

First, how do I check for animations in Blender?  (I assume that is where the animation is?

Second, how do I know what version I am using, Do I need to set that up in DAZ?  I know the FBX version in Blender is 4.20.2

    Thanks

  • I think you need to apply the scale transforms in Blender. In object mode, Ctrl-A, "Scale".

And because AutoDesk's FBX SDK's license is not compatible with open source, Blender had to reverse engineer the FBX format as best they could, but their implementation is not perfect. So it's not any version of FBX, it's Blender FBX. For that reason, you may try the Better FBX Importer addon for Blender.

If the building isn't rigged, you're better off importing as OBJ. If it is rigged...you'll probably need to re-rig it in DS anyway, so you're better off importing it as OBJ.
