I got a hard problem after last update of DAZ 4.8 Beta.
When the iRay render starting to work, at the first minute and first rendered pixels in render window, I have a system message about video driver crush and at next step DAZ stops to work.

Have not this problem in another 3D apps and games. Had not driver crushes in the first versions of 4.8-Beta..

Windows 8.1 Pro (all updated)
CPU Intel Core i7 3820
Video Card Asus GeForce GTX 680 (drivers updated)
Motherboard Asus P9X79 Deluxe
Memory 32 Gb
System SSD Crucial MX100 256 Gb
PB 800 W

I solve this type of crash, making underclock to the graphic card . Many graphics cards are factory overclocked. If you low frequencies Nvidia reference, they are much more stable.

I never "play" with factory settings and I don't know how to do It.. Also I never use any program-tweakers. And I never had a drivers crush If I use iRay in the 3D Max.

I think It's just a bad bug in the new version of 4.8-beta, like a visible shadows from invisible objects, and I hope that somebody from beta-team will fix It in the final version.

My registry have not a folder TdrDelay.
But has a folder with key "Timeout". Maybe It's what I need ?

Its not a folder. Select "GraphicsDrivers" folder. If you dont have TdrDelay key on the right side, make one as described in 3 b)

    "3 a)

If the folder contains a key with the name “TdrDelay”, right-click it and change the value to something high enough for your scene. Something between 8 and 16 should be fine, the number is interpreted as seconds. And be aware of the difference between a decimal and a hexadecimal input.

    b)
If the folder does not contain a key with the name “TdrDelay”, right-click into the empty space below the values and create a new “DWORD”-value. Name it “TdrDelay” and change the value as described in 3.a).
Reboot your system for the changes to take effect."

Copy/paste text of the link into your browser address bar. Apparently, when you click at link, it doesnt put () around v=vs.85 in the address for some reason so it cant find it.

    Thank you for this information!

I'll be attempting this tonight, and it will be great if it fixes those crashes... sooo frustrating.
