Ultimate Unwrap3D Pro (x64)

I purchased this software yesterday and I haven't been able to download the non-demo Pro version. I have emailed my issue to them thru three of their email addresses: sales, support, and the owners personal email address, and nothing.
Can anyone here who has this software another way to reach them? This is really frustrating. They should have replied to me by now.
Is support there this bad overall?
My only option now is to start a mess thru Paypal. I really want to avoid that.

Enable Javascript, refresh the page, etc. Blocking it and/or popups will stop many websites from having working downloads.
From their website, looks like it may be manned as they suggest giving them 48 hours when placing orders outside of normal business hours. And to place "Unwrap 3D" in the email's subject header.
They finally got back to me, they fixed the issue with their server. I was able to download the software but it will not register now because it can't send out the key to their registration server.
Forty-eight hours to get back to me on a download/server issue is not going to keep me around as a customer.
I am regretting this purchase.
If I recall it took me at least 24 hours if not two days to get my serial etc, I panicked a bit too but never have regretted the purchase since.
I had to dig out windows internet explorer to download all the plugins for other import/export plugins too I better warn you before that frustrates you too.
If you have the full paid for version I don't think you need to register it, it's been registered for you.
I have this software... it's brilliant and I love it. I use it almost daily! There's always room for improvement but it's better, in my opinion, than UV Mapper Pro.
Hope you get it all sorted out.

It's the full version. I have never used this software before. It definitely needs to be activated. I was able to download the non-demo version. Until I can activate it, I can't save anything. Seems like they have an issue with their activation/registration server now.
I was told great things about this software which is why I decided to go for it.
Same here, love it and use it almost daily. I find I use it more for simple mesh alterations and exporting to other formats much more than for UVmapping. Also the texture atlas feature and poly reduction tool is very helpful.
If I remember correctly, it took me a bit to get my info, but they have gotten back to me with answers to questions rather quickly since then.
Not sure why they are having server issues. Hope they get them sorted out soon so you can jump on board.
I think my only puzzle with the program is that when I use the Relax UV option is seems to unweld it as well as relax it so I don't care for the unweld side effect unless I'm doing something wrong. I found that out when I had used the Relax option and then zoomed in and found all the point disconnected. I was like WTF?? Other than that.. yea, I use the program for more than just UV'ing. Very useful and he did right by his end users and made a native 64 bit version....
I actually only have the 32bit so may need to look into this, not sure how that came to be.
It's there. Under the News page this is mentioned:
What's new for v3.50.07:
The 64-bit version of Ultimate Unwrap3D Pro has been released.
Free upgrade available for qualifying users!
Also, at my request he added in jpg export of the UV maps. I wrote him and asked why he only offered PSD and BMP and said that BMP's were too large... to please include a JPG export. Next update included the JPG export. He does listen! :-)
well put registration in for upgrade will wait and see
had to hunt through my SPAM box to find it again though
I had the serial saved but the registration email
and done
According to them the problem with the activation is at my end, outgoing traffic is ok but incoming is blocked.
I did disconnect the Windows' firewall when attempting the activation before I contacted them. So it has to be my Router's firewall. I forgot it has one and it is active. It has to be where the incoming traffic is being blocked for Ultimate Unwrap 3D.
I was sent a key via email around midnight last night (I am in the same time zone). Looks like they do provide support after 5 PM ET.
It's working now, I can save my stuff.
Yay, so glad you got it resolved. Yea, a double firewall can be problematic. I just use MS's and all my tests shows I'm stealth so I don't worry about it. My router has a firewall but doesn't seem to cause me those sorts of issues.
Right on Wendy. One thing I noticed about the 64 bit was the 32 bit crashed and froze up on me a bit here and there with very complicated obj's and and all the material zones I like to build while in Ultimate and not getting those issues with the 64 bit. Also he's added in a couple of new UV algorithms that are just cool! I've found that I use the LSCM for pants that I've split equally 4 ways (sort of like a seamstress sew pattern) but if that doesn't work I try the ABF UV's algorithm and that sometimes gives me better results.
Here's a UV I made in Ultimate for a pair of pants I made for Hivewire's Dusk:
Go into your router's control panel and double check to make sure that it's time/date are correct...or are set to automatically set themselves from a timeserver. Many times, if the time/date are wrong, it will see the certificate for a secure server as invalid and block the traffic from it.
RAMWolff, that looks great. I take it you did it all inside UU3D?
I just started working with the software and I managed to fix the UV for the engines on this ship, for some reason the UV was scrambled or out of place, don't know how to describe it as I am new to all this:

In order to finish I will take the UV template and texture it in Photoshop. It will be a simple task that I can do fast just to get it out of the way.
I was going to post that it probably is a time/date issue since many times I have looked at the configs and the time/date have been out of sync, but not this time. The router is setup to grab the time and date from an online time server.
I will probably just need to add an exception/filter for UU3D (when I figure out which ports it is using).

Looks like quite an undertaking. All those bits and bobbles. Just keep in mind, and I found out the hard way, the planer mapping is often NOT the way to go, single or double sided. Try mapping those and then slap on a tiling texture via Photoshop and see how parts of it are stretched out badly.
I did find that the Camera option was really helpful. You see that at work with the belt loops and the front pockets (on the left lower side of the UV's for the pants). Gave me a very nice, perfectly flattened out map to work with that looks just as good in DS.
Camera is easy too.... Select the material or group you want and then in the 3D view window zoom in (scroll mouse) and pan (ctrl + alt + left mouse button) until you get your selection view where you want it, then up 2D Tools> UV Mapping> Camera. If you don't like the results just ctrl Z and undo it and try again....
Hi mate!
Excuse me, What's differences between demo and ordered version of sofware?? I mean the features and abilities.
Thnaks and Regard :)
