Animation conversion (face mojo) G3 to G2?

I'm trying to preserve some animation of G2 characters, but want to make them speak using Face Mojo. That only works for G3 or G8 characters. Is there a way to convert the JSON data from a G3 character to a G2 charcter? I have Animation Conversion G2 to G3 and heard there's a way to make it work in reverse (G3 to G2).

I think face Mojo needs the face bone rigs of G3/8.

Thanks. I was wondering if the JSON files, once assigned to a G3 fig, could be converted to a G2 fig.
