I am sure there's a way to fix this but at the moment I can't figure it out.
As the title says, dforce hair is unconforming. I am using female hair on males so instead of it looking like it had before when I loaded it and fit it to the head, it is pushed down into their scalp, giving them a bald spot, like how it is when I load it. Morphs stay the same but the location does not.
It's pretty annoying because I have saved characters I use often and I have to save them bald, reapply the hair, reapply the custom texture i made for the hair...
help pls

How did you transfer the hair, AutoFit dialogue?
I know I didn't start this topic but I can't find any answers on google about this issue and this is the only link I could find. I'm having the exact same problem using Wilona Hair for G8 on G9 using the auto fit short hair option. The scalp stays in the same place but the hair upon file reload sinks below the scap.
I noticed trouble with d-force hair using it on other characters than originally designed for by autofit as well. the solution I found (in my case it was a beard) was to load the prop without autofitting and then parent it to the body part, you need to adapt it a bit manually but it then follows movements smoothly
edited for better readability
It's because of the way the procedural hairs are linked to the original base geoemtry placement - converting chnages that, while parenting and shaping via transforms/morphs doesn't (it's a set of modifiers on top of the base mesh).
