A file organizing gem I stumbled across

Over the years I was searching for a 3d file browsing and organizing tool. Of course did I find xnview and the like but they are not made for our 3d world.

E.g. I always wanted something that can show exrs or hdrs projected like in the render instead of only as a flattened image. Showing obj, fbx geometry with a turntable function was also on my list.

Guess what, I found a tool. And best is - they have a free version.

Maybe you like to have a look as well.

Doesn't appear to be.  There's a 90 day free trial, but if you stop paying afterwards you lose access to your files.

I didn't find any free edition available either. Also no mention as to cost. That IMHO is not a good sign if money matters.

Well, if it's good enough for the very believably real "The guy with the fancy haircut", "Coffee on my desk girl" and "The guy with the blue hat", then it's good enough for me... if you can't trust them, who can you trust?*

*Literally anyone else these are not real individuals.

Yes, but you need to create an account to download the software. That's all to it - no subscription, hidden charges etc. Their business model seems to be selling their "big" cloud service version which is meant for distributed teams, vendor / customer collaboration workflows etc. But if you only want connecter locally intalled on your PC it's free and does not need the cloud at all. That's how I use it. And so far I did not get ad email from them. The only info was a note about a new release.
