I really like this item, but why does it ask for the fit when the product says it fits Genesis 8.1 and Genesis 8 Female?

Furthermore, Genesis 8 Female is not even a choice in the fit dialogue (see attached).

I am trying to use it on a G8F figure. 

If I can't find a solution, then I will need to return this item. When loaded to a G8F figure it looks terrible, no matter what choice you make, including the Cancel button of the fit dialogue.

Is this a product oversight?

    I have the same issue with some of Lali Kamala's stuff. You just need to select the item in the Scene tab and select the Scene option menu and select Edit > Scene Identification. Then just change the Preferred Base to Genesis 8.1.

    I actually got it to fit right by choosing the first option in the dropdown -> Unsupported.

    But it should not even be asking for a fit I believe.

    Unfortunately it was probably saved on Gensis 8.1 and so looks for that figure - there is no conversion needed, which is why choosing Unsupported works, but it will remove any custom bones the item may have so isn't the ideal solution. Changing the Preferred Base stops DS from doing anything to the model, so is the better option. You could open a support ticket, but I'm pretty sure the solution would be to remove 8 from the description (though the fixes would still work).

    Thanks. Didn't know this, so I will use the Preferred Base option.
