Hello, my name is Henry. I am a very new user to Daz Studio. I had been looking for ages to find a decent looking Sci Fi Portal for sale. I found this:

I don't have it, but looking at the description, it's a few 3d mesh objects like a base for bottom and top, a wormhole shape, a tube and a funnel. You load one or more of these objects into the scene, positon and then while it is selected apply one of the materials to it. Probably best to have iray preview on to see what the effect is and whether you want to keep it or try another.

Keep in mind that DAZ has a 30 day return policy, so if it isn't for you, you can always return it.
