Hi everyone,

Do you know how to add a new body part name under the "Actor" tree like (Hip, Legs, Chest)?

See picture below.

Thanks

Warning: these are not body parts but groups of morphs. When you save a Morph you can choose where to put it.. if you write a not-existing group, DAZ will create it.

    Ok, thanks a lot,
I tried it and it works but why do I have next to the name the letter "C" and not the default arrow?

Is the pane in Edit mode (right-click menu)?

    Yes, in Edit mode

Sorry, I was barking up the wrong tree: the ones with a bust are Regions, which are created along with the figure (e.g. Genesis 8 Female). Within a region there may be Property Groups (the G, not C, icon) - each property has its own group setting, the pane shows the groups used by all loaded and visible properties. Since you are creating a new group, for a property, it has the G icon.

Ok thanks, I added names to classify my different Morphs but how to save because if I close Daz studio I lose everything?
    I tried File/Save but it doesn't work

    FILE-->SAVE AS-->SUPPORT ASSET-->MORPH ASSET(S)

Warning: if you save an existing Morph as a new Morph, the old one will remain in the library.
So you must overwrite the original morph file or manually delete the old one, otherwise you'll have a duplicate morph.

PS you can manually edit a morph opening original file with notepad.

    Ok thanks,
If I have several Morphs to move from one category to another, should I save them one by one?

I would recommend saving a character preset and using that to load the figure. If you save modified assets there is a risk of causing issues, and if there is a product update your modification will be overwritten.

Setting the path is in the right-click menu when the pane is in Edit mode, so if there are a bunch you wish to send to the same location I would select them all and use that rather than going one-by-one.

Within a group they go in alphabetical order.

Hi and thanks, if the order is automatically done by alphabetical order, then I can not arrange it as I want?
