Hello, I have problems baking Expressions pose controls to transforms on genesis 8.1 in newest DAZ Studio Build.
The Expressions are not identical after baking process. Not even close. Also some pose controls remain after baking process.
For demonstation I have created this strange expression with pose controls.
In Picture 1 I show the expression before baking,
In Picture 2 you see after baking. The expression is already not identical. And many pose controls remain.
Picture 3 all Pose controls set to 0. Expression does not look like picture 1 at all.

Try selecting the figure instead of the head band bake that too.
I tried selecting the figure instead of the head, with the same bad results.
Richard, try something simple like Jaw Open. After the bake finishes, the Jaw Open pose control is zeroed. However, the result of baking the transforms does not match the original Jaw Open pose control. The cheeks and ears are visibly different.
Yes the changes around the jaw are clearly visible. The eyes have the same problem. Here is another example.
That is very annoying because I have to bake the posecontrols to transforms before I can make mirrored versions of my poses.
Right now I have to save all poses including Pose Controls, to avoid this problem and also have to manualy rework every expression that i mirrored because pose controls can not be mirrored.
If you have a simple steps-to-reproduce or example scene please open a ticket with the details.
I submitted Request #410023 using Jaw Open as a simple example of the problem.
Edit: Customer service says it is a known bug that the developers know about.
Am I correct that "bake to transform" doesn't work for animation ? If yes, is there any way ?
I just want to confirm that the bug still exists in 4.21
