If I try to render a shot that is in low light or the dark, they usually come out with lots of dots or static.
Ive used the denoiser and while it does work the images do become more flat because of it.
Any tips or tricks to help with low light renders?
Thanks!
Set the "cm^2 factor" to 10 and forget denoisers.
Heres a pic of what I am talking about.
Im rendering it with the denoiser now, which looks acceptable to be fair but it always makes the image look like a very slightly smeared oil painting
Render with adequate light and then lower the exposure in post.
