my toe is backwards

No idea how or when this happened. Just spent hours posing my characters and noticed my toe is backwards. Please help. Thanks

Zeroing the feet from one of the pose options put it back. Now have to repose the feet.

Did setting the pose sliders for the toe to "0" not work?

Will have to look for that setting - clicking the zero feet worked - not sure how it got that way.

They're probably referring to either the slider under "Pose Controls", or the actual X,Y,Z rotation controls.

As for why it happened, possibly a bad pose preset, if you were using one. With limits off, weird stuff happens.
