make hands invisible easily?

hi,

each time i want to make hands invisible (e.g. when they are in gloves and some parts are sticking out) i seem to have to select each individual piece of finger and make it invisible.
Is there a faster way?

    using Surfaces tab, selecting the surfaces of the hand and nails, set Opacity to 0%, done.

    You can use http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/45183/ to select the fingers by selecting the hand and running the script, then use the Visible button in the Parameters pane to hide them all. It's best to hide rather than make transparent as the renderer still has to evaluate transparent surfaces to make sure they are not going to have an effect while hidden parts are simply ignored.
