Instancing & UltrasScatter in general & Country Ford by TanoAlpha in particular

I have the Country Ford product, in the road area a variety of pebbles (or are those rocks?)

Some of them (the tan ones) look to saturated and shiny for me

I cannot figure out how to change them, in the node list the is a group Instance Masters, in that there is a group, Pebbles, in that there are 10 objects, ta_Peeble 0-9

I changed the texture map for each of these (and other surface parameters) and there is no change when I re-render

There are also ‘rocks’ but none of them are tan

Any ideas?

If you literally chnaged the texture (base colour) maps then that will not affect the glossiness - you would need to adjust the settinmgs for glossiness (or specularity, depending on the shader used).

I did both, (and more) changed the texture maps, changed glossiness… (iRay) no effect on the pebbles I want to change

I tried ultrascatter to s check, as expected, any material changes to the master change all the instances (is there something different about the ultra scenery?)

so my question, is there some why that these instances are 'isolated'

or for someone that has ‘country ford’, am I changing the parameters on the correct node(s)?

You are changing the wrong object. Pebbles are in the river. You need to change ta_Grit, which is on the road.

Thanks! I tried rocks and pebbles, missed ‘grit’
