Lycanthropos

Of All the Werewolves and Lycans and there derivatives, I like Lycanthropos the best. He is the Moon Moon (for anyone who doesn't know Moon Moon: http://themetapicture.com/the-return-of-moon-moon/) of the lycan world, and your best defense against a Lycanthropos attack is not Silver bullets or swords, but tennis balls...

The one big drawback to Lycanthropos, is he is a standalone character, and most cloths don't fit him well or at all, severely limiting the usefulness of this wonderful personality. In he world I'm working to create, Running around naked at midnight, howling at the moon is perfectly fine, but going to the store for some kibble without pants is frowned upon.

So is there any Autofit, mesh, transfer kit or trick I can acquire or use to make clothing fit him, without having to make special morphs for each piece?

Only way I know is pose, size, shape it to fit, export an obj, reimport it and rig it
in DAZ you can use the transfer utility if you make him weightmapped
in Carrara I select the figures hip and the clothing and attach skeleton and tidy up with weightpainting brush for unique characters, you may be able to do this in DAZ too with the transfer utility
the only other way would be to create a clone, that could be a lot harder but would make doing more clothes easier.

Thank you, I'll have to give it a shot at some point, however, I was really hoping some nice person had already did the clone thing, and save me some trouble.

maybe I'll start with one or two simple items and give it a shot.

Clones are actually difficult to share for legal reasons. For example an M4 clone, that would make sense for this figure, would involve morphing the figure into exactly the M4 shape (or at least the body shape), but M4 is a copyrighted figure so you can not legally share the morph with others.

    For M4...maybe.

But for Genesis and Genesis2, a duf morph file should just contain the 'deltas'. None of the real geometry needs to be included.

If it wasn't 'legal' to share morphs like that the hundreds of sculpted morphs would all be illegal.

Except that the "hundreds of sculpted morphs" are creating their own shape, not creating one that is for sale. If you hunt around the forums you will find a number of tutorials that tell you how to create clones, but none that are just a link to download one.

Back on topic, another option you have to clothe the figure in DS is to use dynamic clothing. You would have to resize the Lycanthropos first to get it to roughly fit the clothing, but once you have frozen the fit, you can then resize the creature back to its original size and the clothing should still fit (though a few poke throughs may result).

While you're building new clothing for him, you might want to play with a bodysuit, or use the bodysuit as a starting point (with some creative texture maps, you can make pants, t-shirts, etc.):

there is also this I see http://www.daz3d.com/zoot-suit-for-lycanthropos
I do not have Lycanthropus but IMO RawArt's manwolf or MS lycan could be morphed a bit to resemble him esp using toony figures etc and can wear everything Genesis

This of course is a great suggestion, however, I've tried Rawarts Manwolf, MS Lycan, Anubis For Genesis ( Not the G2M one, as I dislike it's look) Rawart's Lycaon, as well as looked at many others... None of them have the "personality" Lycanthropos has. The fact there is a Zoot Suit for him tells me I'm not alone in that thinking. As for the legal issues in producing a clone, I don't follow most of it, but do see clones all the time, (recently picked up Sickleyields G2 to G1 clothing clone) So I'm sure there is someone somewhere who could legally produce a clone (however, it is likely I'll have to try to do this myself at some point.

As for the MS lycan. I actually picked it up by mistake in one of the sales. I had initially wanted RawArt's Lycaon, but after getting it, I liked it enough to keep. As a wolfman, he isn't my favorite, but as a Batman, I really think he excels. When I can figure out the Gaibaldi hair system better, I think he'll make a decent Sasquatch as well.

    @ Midnight Stories:
I tried putting a string bikini on him for you, but it was rendering funny, So he was spared for now.

It is currently unavailable for download, but I remember picking it up at some point in the past. I'll have to hunt down where I put it... But thanks for reminding me about that.
