50 1st Renders. AGain! a.k.a I can't remember anything anymore ** Solved **

Okay so here I am again.  I will start a project and never finish and then months will go by and I will come back to it.  But, it is like starting all over again.  I can't remember what I was doing/did.  Ugh.  Story of my life.

So I'm back to it again.  I was creating some basketball players and I created the character and saved the character. Then I customized the uniform and saved it.

1) So when I click on the character, it auto comes up in the screen with hair and skin and such.

2) I select the character.  When I click on the uniforms, it automatically fits on the character.  No need for adjustments.

Before, I created the character and the uniform and saved them so it could work this way.

The problem?  I can't remember how I saved them to get it to work this way.  I tried a number of ways today, but when I do, it has a label such as "actor", "Material" or something like that on the icon.

The ones from before are blank. (example screenshots)

They are duf files, but is there anyway to show how they were saved in the first place?  The example screen shots are the way they were set up before.  There's no indication on the icon of how they were saved.

The third picture shows it saved as a "scene subset". It clearly shows "set" on the icon.  This was done today.  I tried a bunch of other ways too and they all have indications on them.

I spent a good amount of time today trying to figure this out and getting no where lol.  Truthfully, I think I could easily lose my mind lol.  What else is new?

A Scene Subset will give the character and any items 9that you choose to include) attached to it. A Character preset will give shape and materials, but no attachments. A Wearables preset will give any parented items (that yoiu choose to include) and, optionally, the pose.

The file type is given inside the file, in the first block of data, if you look with a text editor - you may need to uncompress the files (Batch Convert pane or a tool like 7Zip) first.

Thank you so much!  That hit the spot.  The character ones were indeed scene subsets and both uniforms were saved as wearables.  I guess what threw me was the icons didn't have anything on them.  I need to take better notes or not go away for so long.  LOL.  Thanks again!
