FireFly Hair - not on Goldtassel sale?

Hi, just going through Goldtassel's sale and I notice the new FireFly hair is not discounted; any reason for this? Curious. :D - LOVE that hair!

    Probably because it's a new item. When DAZ have these kinds of sales usually items that have come out less than 60 days are not included in the sale.

    Hi ThatGuy, thanks; however, newer items in the same artist's gallery are on sale, all saying NEW across them. This one is second row down, so not the newest of them. One other of her hairs is also not marked for sale, Ella Ella. Not sure if it's an oversight on Daz's part or if meant to be. lol!

    They are PC+ items, and as you are a PC member you see them as discounted although they are indeed New.

    A non PC member won't see the discount

    Right; the newest are still in 2-week 'release discount' phase. The ones without 'New' on them are after the 60 day 'New Release' bit wears off.

    There's an interim period, from 15 to 60 days old that the item is still 'New', but is out of the 'release' discount, and doesn't qualify for sales discounts yet. I get the feeling this is when a lot of the professional 3D folks end up buying stuff; folks who don't care about the discounts, because they're working to spec. (And don't visit the forums, because they have a job to do...)

    Ahah!! Thanks Chohole and Cypherfox ... makes sense. Well, DAZ sense, which still confuses me at times after all these years... lol!
