Converting Male to Female, with shapes?

Ok, so first, let me explain what I am wanting, and why.
I have a plugin (very expensive) in C4D that creates control rigs and links face mocap data to G8M. I know this workflow and have used it in the past with great results.
It looks like the company that created this plugin no longer supports C4D, as I was going to buy the G8F version (not the most wallet friendly way to go about things but, I know the workflow and produces good results)
But I cant get or locate this plugin, I have contacted the developers of the plugin, without a reply.
But production needs to go on, and characters are always the first to get sorted.
I have tried using the plugin on G8F, but it knows (even after file renaming etc) that its not the G8M, and wont allow me to work.
Is there a way, such as a plugin or way to export etc (currently using Daz to c4d bridge) to export a G8F with a G8M name (not sure how plugin recognises that is not G8M, but must be some sort of metadata etc). I tried using the daz plugin Cross Figure for Gen 8, but that does not allow to use female paremeters/ shaping etc to get the look I want, it appears to be purely for clothes.
Ideally, I want female shape sliders/morphs, applied to a male and I can easiliy relink textures etc.
Anyone with any ideas/ methods?
Thanks,

The Male/Female is probably read from the file itself (the text inside the file), you can read it too by opening the files in Notepad (or with Notepad++ which is better)
Might be rather time consuming, but apparently one can transfer morphs from one gender to the other [G8].

You could try using the Character Definition and Character Solver to map G8M's face bones to drive a G8F.
edit: also, have you tried Moves by Maxon?
Thanks for the reply - wouldnt have a clue how to implement what you are suggesting though.
The dev company came back to me, they have a plugin I can use for females for about $400.
I might give moves by maxon a quick go first and see how it compares, however I had great results with the plugin in the past.
Which version of C4D are you using? The character definition/solver were introduced in R22, I think, and they're actually quite easy to use.
R23, Also have R24 etc.
